Pricing
Upon examination of your manuscript and discussion of your needs, I will provide you with a per project fee. My standard rate for 2024 is $70.00/hour for academic clients. Rates for publishers, non-profits, artists, and students will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
I follow industry standards for copy editing: I can do a medium level copy edit of a standard (non-academic) text at a rate of four to seven 250-word pages per hour. Academic texts, texts requiring extensive fact-checking, texts with graphic content, or texts with higher needs may take longer.
